When I opened Wiggle Worms in 2005, my dream was simple—to create a place where children would be known, encouraged, and given a strong educational foundation in an environment that feels like home. More than twenty years later, that dream continues to guide everything we do. What began as an early childhood learning center has grown into a private elementary program through third grade, allowing children to continue their educational journey in the same nurturing, Christ-centered environment where it all began.

I have always believed that education should teach children how to think, not simply what to think. When children are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, express their ideas, and understand the “why” behind what they are learning, they become confident readers, writers, thinkers, and communicators with a genuine love of learning that extends far beyond the classroom.

As the years passed, it became clear that our journey shouldn’t end after VPK. Parents wanted the same caring relationships, individualized instruction, and strong academic foundation to continue into the elementary years. That vision led to the creation of our Bookworms private elementary program, giving families the opportunity to continue growing in a school where every child is truly known.

Our goal has never been to prepare children only for the next grade level—it has been to prepare them for life. In a world that continues to change, we believe children need strong character, unwavering faith, curiosity, resilience, and the ability to think critically. Our small, family-centered environment allows us to partner closely with families while helping every child discover the unique gifts God has given them.

Whether your child is just beginning as a curious Wiggle Worm or continuing the journey as a confident Bookworm, our hope is the same—to inspire a lifelong love of learning while nurturing faith, character, confidence, and compassion.
